Swatantrata Bhavan ( Hall of Independence)

A scheme to construct a main auditorium with other auxiliary facilities in the Campus of the University figured prominently as a high priority programme under the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of the University in 1976.

Accordingly, the Auditorium was completed by 1985.

It provides

• An auditorium with a seating capacity of 2000.

• Foyer area for exhibition.

• One Senate Hall on the first floor with a seating capacity of 300.

• A Committee Room with a small office room with seating capacity ranging from 150 to 200.
