The
Molecular Biology Unit has emerged as a class of its own in teaching
and research in the country. To expand its horizon beyond the country's
boundary, more work need to be done to further improve the teaching and
research programmes. The Unit did not receive any funds through the
plan and is functioning with the grant- in-aid agency. In the Ph.D.
