Area of specialization:

My area of specialization is an assessment of heavy metal contamination and its effects on physiological and biochemical changes in soil and plants and the synchronized detoxification of harmful reactive oxygen species by their antioxidant defense mechanisms. I have also studied several management practices to control the level of metal contamination and to reduce food chain contamination. Along with this, I have worked on the application of nano-technological approach for regulating the metabolic activities of plants.
