Brief writeup on area of specialization/awards/achievements:

Our field of interest is theoretical Molecular Reaction Dynamics. Currently we are working on Intersystem Crossing Dynamics of different chemical reactions, e.g., O + Hydrocarbons (unsaturated). Our ultimate goal is to understand spin-orbit induced intersystem crossing dynamics in enzyme (containing metal ion) catalytic reactions and to predict the possibility of modifying active site to change the reactivity of a metal contained enzyme.
