  • After joining the Chemistry Department as temporary lecturer in March 1981, He has started work on Organic Conductors, then he got a CSIR project on this topic during 1985-1988. even as a temporary lecturer (He had to take a permanent teacher as a supervisor and himself as a co-supervisor). The project resulted15 publications, a review article, and a Ph.D. thesis . After being confirmed as a lecturer in 1989, he was able to get four projects on molecular electronics from CSIR, DST, UGC and Indo-French Centre during 1992-1998 and with a eight research fellow. Total budget of about 75 lac rupees, this work has yielded more than forty publications.
  • He was awarded Royal Society -INSA academic exchange fellowship (1992-93) to work at the Centre for Molecular Electronics, University of Durham, U.K. He visited CRPP, CNRS, Bordeaux, France three times during 1995-98 as the Principal Collaborator of Indo-French projects. As early as 1990 in my career( He was a new lecturer then). He was a invited speaker and session chairman in an International Conference at Los Angles, USA. I have delivered more than twenty invited lecturers at various conferences and institutes. He received a number of Biographical Honours viz. Man of the Year 2002(ABI, USA), American Medal of Honor-2002(ABI, USA), Leading Educators of the World-2005 (IBC, Cambridge, U.K.) and 2000 Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century, 2006 (IBC, Cambridge, U.K.) .
