Brief writeup on area of specialization/awards/achievements: |
|
Area of Specialization: My research interest encompasses Sedimentology in general and Himalayan Geology in particular. The emphasis of my research is mainly on the Paleogene sequences of the Himalaya and Lesser Himalayan evaporites. Besides, my interest lies on calcretes which are indicators of semiarid/arid climates.
