Our current research focuses on two main areas of research:
Igneous Petrology, Geochemistry and Precambrian Geology
1. Mantle Petrology through Work on: Precambrian Mafic Igneous Complexes, particularly dyke swarms and associated volcanic rocks from the Bastar craton, Dharwar craton and Arunanchal Himalaya.
2. Mantle Petrology Through Work Work on:Ultramafic-Alkaline-Carbonatite Complexes of western, southern, and northeastern India.
3. Mantle Petrology Through work on : Lamprophyres, lamproites, and kimberlites of Mahakoshal supracrustal belt and Bastar craton , Damodar valley, East Gondwana, and Dharwar craton.
4. Andaman Ophiolite suite
