(SPECIAL COURSE)
A. The Postgraduate Diploma in Communication Skills (PGDCS) is a one year special course consisting of two semesters. It follows semester system. It consists of the following courses:
FIRST SEMESTER:
- PGDDSC – 01: Introduction to Models and Theories of Communication
(4 Credits)
- PGDDSC – 02: The Skills and Art of Speaking in Public (4 Credits)
- PGDDSC – 03: The Skills & Art of Conversation, Listening and Interviewing
(4 Credits)
SECOND SEMESTER
- PGDDSC – 04: The Techniques and Procedure of Conducting Discussion
(4 Credits)
- PGDDSC – 05: The Fundamentals of Effective Writing (4 Credits)
- PGDDSC – 06: The Art and Skills of Presentation Using New Technology
(4 Credits)

C. No. of seats: Minimum 15 and Maximum 20
D. Duration with nature of course: One year with two semesters.

A. The postgraduate diploma in Journalism & Mass Communication is conducted in the Rajiv Gandhi South Campus, BHU, Barkachcha, Mirzapur. This is a full time course of one-year duration with two semesters. It consists of six papers with 30 credits. The following are the titles of the papers:
