Department quality enhancement plan


The Department of Sanskrit comprises of Faculty Members having expertise in Sanskrit Language and various indological disciplines including the traditional Shastras-Veda, Vyakarana, Philosophy, Rhetoric etc.More than 40 research students are engaged in research for the award of Ph.D.degree under the different Faculty of member on various topics. The Faculties of the Department have been consistently engaged in the publication of research papers and books on various domain of Sanskrit studies. The teachers of the Department hold the credit of publishing 30 books and 111 researchs papers during the X plan.

The Department depends on the avilability of Financial support form t6he UGC. It generates financial resources by means of paid seats at the Post-graduate level.

Students Result
The result of the students at at the Under-Graduate levle is absolutely satisfactory.The Students passing out form the Department are engeged not only in teaching jobs but also in different spheres of employment.
Professionnal ethics/values being emphasied or inculated in department during tgeaching-learning, day working and future plan of action for the same.
The Students are having a good academic pursuit with an ethical and moral values of the Indian life and culture. The ethics embodied in Sanskrit text are seemingly regulating their present life and future outlook.
The Students of the Department are aware of the vision of our founder Pt. Malviya Ji and they are taught to follow the path of their great Indian thinkers and nation-builder, both traditional and modern, in thers professional and Social lives. They do participate in all viable international and nationalevents occurring in the campus in order to enrich their own vkiews in a winder way.
