A center of Gaon Gyan Kendra (GGK) is to be established at the farm. The Centre would work for the generation of livelihood, through application of information and communication technologies in the rural areas of Eastern Uttar Pradesh and adjoining areas of Bihar and Madhya Pradesh. This project has been submitted to Media Lab Asia, New Delhi.
| Farm Laboratories and other Activities |
A Bio-Control lab for HaNPV, Trichogramma and Trichoderma development is proposed to be established at the farm site. A project has already been submitted to Ministry of Agriculture for its funding. A mushroom spam production laboratory for mushroom cultivation is being established. Also, Govt. of U.P has provided an initial fund support to the tune of Rs. 12 Lacs.
An integrated project for livestock and dairy development at the site is also being proposed. About two dozen livestocks from University pool have been transferred to initiate such activities at the farm. Activities like sericulture, apiculture, and aquaculture would also be developed through funding support from various agencies, which would encourage entrepreneurships development among rural masses.
Various Projects for more than Rs 15.0 Crores have been submitted to different funding agencies like Ministry of Agriculture, DST, TIFAC (DST) Ministry of Information Technology, UP Government, etc.
