of Otorhinolaryngology (ENT)
Department provides high quality medical services
for E.N.T. disorders. More than 40 Thousand patients are treated in OPD
and Indoor per year. Most of these patients are from Eastern V.P., Bihar,
Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and Nepal. Many new surgical procedures are
also introduced including microsurgery of ear, Function Endoscopic Sinus
Surgery and microlaryngeal surgery for the first time in this region by
the departmental faculty. Department regularly participates in various
awareness progranm1es and patient education programmes including National
Deafness Prevention and National Cancer Prevention programme. We also
participated in R.C.I. CME Programme for Medical Officers to train them
in management of hearing handicap. Many talks on AIR were also delivered.
