Human molecular Genetics, Developmental Genetics, Cytogenetics, spermatogenesis.
My research interest is cardiovascular genetics, particularly genetic analysis of congenital heart disease (CHD) and cardiomyopathy. Goal of my laboratory is to identify, map, and characterize the genes responsible for familial cadiomyopathies and congenital heart diseases as well as to determine the prevalence of genetic mutations that cause these disorders in Indian population..
