Brief writeup on area of specialization/awards/achievements:

Immunology, Parasitology and Cell Signaling
The primary research goal of our laboratory is to define the biochemical, molecular and functional nature of Dendritic cell in transplant immunology and tumor immunology and evaluate their clinical significance. Studies are also focused on signaling mechanisms involved in CD47 and CD95 mediated cell death in human cancer. We will also investigate the immunopathogenesis of Leishmaniasis to understand the cytokine and chemokine mediated. Cellular and molecular mechanisms using murine models.
