This list is fairly large and speaks of the contribution of the Department
to higher academics and research.
The alumni of the Department of Telugu have occupied prestigious positions
in various academic and administrative organizations. Prof. B. Vishwanath
serving as the Director of Annamacharya Project of TTD, a holy place of
Lord Venkateswara. Prof. G. D. Naidu served as a Prof. and Head of the
Department of Telugu of S. V. University. Prof. N. A. Bharati served as a
Head of the Department of Indian Languages of B.H.U.
