The Hospital Medical Record Section maintains the
details of the indoor as well as outdoor patients. It shows that the patient
load is progressively increasing. In 2009 outdoor patient's attendance
was 943231 which exceeded by 126206 patients compared to the year 2008.
In emergency OPD 52920 patients were seen during the year. Total admissions
in the hospital including Special Ward were 45161 and in total 24056 major
and minor operations were conducted. A total of 2339 (1930 Gynecology
+ 409 Prasuti Tantra) deliveries were conducted during 2009. Various investigations
carried in different units in 2009 increased by more than twice (a total
1125295) compared to only 547490 in 2008. This drastic difference was
due to efficient performance of Centre of Clinical Investigation (CCI).
The bed occupancy rate varied from 30% to 100% in different wards. The
occupancy varied from department to department and some of the departments
had 100% occupancy. It will be more appreciated with the subsequent presentation
department wise.
