(1) "Prof. R.L. Singh Gold Medal" was instituted in 2008 by her daughter Prof. Mrs. Usha Singh (Geography, M.M.V. - B.H.U.), [Ref. R/Dev(Endow-Prof. R.L.S. Medal), dated 20 Feb. 2008] which to be awarded to a student of Geography securing highest marks in MA/MSc Final examination. The award started in 2009 and recipients were Ku. Anandita Saha in 2009, Ku. Neha Kumari Pandey in 2010, Ku Bhairav in 2011, and two students in 2012 who secured equal marks, viz. Ku. Priyanka Roy and Mr. Nitin Kumar Mishra.

(2) "Prof. Kashi Nath Singh Memorial Cash Award" (Rs 10,000/-) by his son Dr. Om Prakash Singh has recently been instituted and to be awarded to the student secured highest marks in MA/MSc III Semester GRM303A (Theory) 'Geography of Rural Settlements'.

(3) "Smt. Sulakshna Singh Memorial Gold Medal" by her son Dr. Om Prakash Singh has recently been instituted and to be awarded to the student secured highest marks in MA/MSc IV Semester GRM402A (Theory) 'Rural and Urban Planning'.

*Award number 2 and 3 will start from 2014.
