Varanasi is well connected with all the metropolises in India. There are direct flights by Indian Airlines, Jet Airways and Kingfisher Airline both in the morning and the evening from Delhi and Mumbai. Train connectivity is also very good, Daily around six express trains travel between Varanasi and Delhi and between Varanasi to Mumbai. BHU is 75 minutes drive from the airport and 25-30 minutes from the railway station. For reaching BHU, on landing in the city ask the taxi/auto rickshaw for "Banaras Hindu University, Lanka"
