Academic
Admission:
- Eligibility- Minimum 50%marks in graduation with physics and mathematics as their subject and one of chemistry, computer science, statistics, and geology as their combination.
- Procedure-Admission is made through All India Entrance Test (PET) conducted by BHU every year.
Academic Calendar:
The course is spread in 6 semesters, odd semester runs from July to November and even semesters from December to April. At the end of every odd semester students are exposed to Geophysical field training and Excursion tour. During the academic calendar industrial Interaction and exposure is regularly provided to students.

Department of Geophysics, Banaras Hindu University offers M.Sc. (Tech.) program covering needs of the industries.
