The Department organizes many events and activities on regular intervals throughout the year. The two major special lecture series hosted by our department are V.Rai Memorial Lecture and Shri Purohit Swami memorial Lecture where renowned academicians from India and abroad are invited to deliver scholarly talks and interact to PhD scholars. Some of the renowned scholars who have visited our Department in the past include Professor Chanchala Nayak (EFLU), Professor Sonjoy Dutta Roy (Allahabad University), Shri Pawan Gupta (an eminent Gandhian thinker), Professor Sudhir Chandra (Fellow at Nates Institute of Advanced Studies, France), Professor Vinod Sena (Delhi University), Professor S.Nagarjan (HCU), Professor Kapil Kapoor (JNU), Professor K.Satchidanandan (Sahitya Akademi), Professor A.K.Singh (University of Rajkot), Professor Sudhir Kumar (Punjab University),Amish Tripathi and many others.
