Specialization - Constitutional Law, Human Rights and Criminal Law

He was awarded LL.D. for his thesis titled “A Critical Study of Law Relating to the Welfare of Children in India”. He qualified NET in the year 2006. He completed his LL.M. in the year 2002 and LL.B. in the year 1998 from University of Lucknow. Before joining Law School, BHU, he was teaching at H.L.Y. Law College, Lucknow. He has also been a guest faculty at Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, Lucknow. Presently he is a member of the Human Rights Cell of BHU. Dr. Singh has contributed immensely in the formulation and introduction of the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programme and the LL.M. (1 year) programmes of this University.
