Specialization - Criminal Law and Criminology

He did his LL.B. (Gold Medal), LL.M. and his Ph.D. (in the year 2004 on Gender & Construction of Women in Legal Discourse in India) from Law School, BHU. He is a life member of the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi and the Indian Society of Criminology, Chennai. He also served as a lecturer for some time in Sikkim Government Law College and later joined University of North Bengal and served there for more the seven years and then joined Law School, BHU in the year 1997. He has a teaching experience spanning 28 years. He has published 12 research papers, supervised 3 Ph.Ds., supervised 35 dissertations and has attended more than 25 national and international seminars till date. He is a visiting faculty at the Centre for Women Studies, BHU; Agrasen Mahila P.G College; and Mahatama Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth University, Varanasi. He has undertaken two projects for Bureau of Police Research & Development. Dr. Pandey is a member of the School Board/Board of Studies at Assam University, Sikkim Central University, Gangtok and Mohan Lal Sukhada, Jodhpur. He is also a Referee for Pragyan Law Journal.
