Specialization – Economics

Dr. Agrawal did her B.A. in Economics from BHU, her M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith. She qualified for UGC-NET in 2012. She has published 23 research papers in UGC approved journals and has published 5 chapters/papers in edited books. She is the sole author of the book “Food Security in India under New Economic Reforms” (Vir Bahadur Publications). In addition to writing her own book, she has edited two other books. Dr. Agrawal has acted as a resource person in 1 international seminar and has presented papers in 3 international, 32 national and 3 regional seminars. She has also supervised 3 dissertations.

The following awards/honours have been conferred upon her: 1) Pratibha Samman Certificate by Student Association, M.G. Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi for Meritorious Students; 2) Yuva Pratibha Samman by Marwadi Yuvak Sangh for Doctorate Degree; 3) Certificate of Appreciation for the success of Geofest International and National Geography Olympiad 2014; 4) Judge during Srijan: A Cultural Event organized by Law School BHU (10-15 February 2016); 5) Yuva Pratibha Samman by Marwadi Yuvak Sangh for publishing her book on Food Security under New Economic Reforms; 6) First Prize in Paper Presentation in the Prof. A.P. Baijal Memorial Lecture Award Session on Startup India at the Two day National Seminar & Third Annual Conference of IAMD.
