He did his LL.M. and Ph.D. from Law School, BHU. He was awarded Doctoral Fellowship by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi in 2015, UGC Research Fellowship in 2012 and UGC Merit Scholarship during 2008-2009. He has written thirteen articles which have been published in various Indian journals and edited a book on Environmental Law titled ‘Paryavarniy Vidhi: Chunootiya, Vishalesana aur Bhavishya’. He has participated and presented research papers in more than 25 national and international seminars and conferences. His well-known contribution includes Perspective on subsidies in International Trade Law, International Journal of Jurisprudence and Philosophy of Law. Volume VII, 2013, pp. 10-25,ISSN 0973-676x0 and How Special are Author’s Special Rights, Indian Journal of Law & Social Change Vol.1 No1 2014, pp.100-116ISSN:2394-0883. He has also presented a paper on “Implication of Crop Insurance on Agricultural Subsidies in India”, in the International Conference on WTO Trade and Agriculture: Issues and Challenges for Developing and Least Developed Countries”, Organized by Center for WTO Studies, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi, on 20-21 October 2016 and on “Role of Media in the Indian Democracy Need to Regulatory Mechanism”, in the National Seminar on Media and Law Interface: Issue and Challenges, Organized by Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow on December 28-29, 2012.

His area of interest includes International Trade Law, Criminology and Penology, Hindu Law and Trade Mark.
