Specialization - Election Laws and Corporate Laws

Dr. Chandra Nath Singh graduated from the Faculty of Law, Banaras Hindu University in the year 2009 and did LL.M. from Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow in the year 2011. He has qualified the National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) in 2011 and was also awarded with JRF in 2012. Thereafter he did his Ph.D. from the Faculty of Law, Banaras Hindu University. He has also been a recipient of UGC Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) during the research period. He did his Ph.D. on �Election Laws: A Comparative Study with Special References to SAARC Countries�.

He has also been research assistant at the Allahabad High Court under Hon`ble Mr. Justice SP Mehrotra and Hon`ble Mr. Justice SS Tiwari. He is at present associated as an Editor in Chief of Ad Valorem (Journal of Law). Before joining Law School BHU, he has worked at IMS Unison University Dehradun. He has published a Book on Environmental Law Titled as �National Green Tribunal Act 2010, An Analytical Analysis� in 2013. He has also participated in a One Month Training Program organized by the National Human Rights Commission; New Delhi.

He has presented papers in 3 international seminars, 15 national seminars and has participated in 3 workshops on research methodology. He has also published several research papers in various law journals. His area of interests includes Corporate Governance, Law of Torts & Family Law.
