Specialization - Commercial Law, Consumer Law and Jurisprudence
Professor C.P. Upadhyay completed his Ph.D. in August 2005 on “Changing Dimensions of Law relating to Medical Negligence”. He was a U.G.C. Merit Scholarship holder for the duration of his LL.M and a J.R.F. for his Ph.D. He started his teaching career at Agra College, Agra in July 1996 as a Lecturer and went on to join Law School, BHU as a Reader in November 2006. He became a Professor in July 2011.
Till date, 8 of his articles have been published in various nationals and international journals. He has chaired the technical sessions of seminars. He has also authored one book and has served as a convener of many committees. In the past, he has delivered lectures at several forums like the Academic Staff College.
He has continuously served for 2 terms as the administrative warden of Chanakya Hostel. He is the Centre Superintendent for UET/PET and is the Coordinator of the Faculty Hostel Allotment Committee. Presently, he is the coordinator of the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) course at Law School, BHU.
