She completed her BA.LLB(Hons) from Maharishi Dayanand University, Haryana, LL.M from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, and PhD from Panjab University, Chandigarh.She qualified NET-JRF exam in the year 2015. During her law school, she won many national moot court competitions and debates. In three years of her teaching experience, she has taught at the Department of Laws, Panjab University, Chandigarh and Manipal University Jaipur. She also worked as research fellow editor of MAGLAW, a magazine of Department of Laws, Panjab University Chandigarh. Her research work mainly focusses on environmental laws and her PhD thesis is on the topic ‘Legal Regime on E-Waste Management: A Study with special reference to Chandigarh’. She has published research papers in national and international journals that include Journal of University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University and Panjab University Law Review. She has published chapters in edited books as well. She has also attended a good number of national and international seminars and conferences. Her areas of interest include Constitutional Laws and Laws on Contractual transactions. She has also been awarded a seed grant from Banaras Hindu University to work on a project of e-waste management in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
