He completed his B.A. (Hons.) from the Faculty of Social Science BHU and his LL.B., LL.M. and Ph.D. from Law School BHU. He qualified NET in Law and HRD. He has published 31 research papers in national and international journals, written 5 books, written 10 chapters for other books, delivered 40 invited lectures and has presented at 70 International and National Research Seminars. In total, 28 post-graduates have been awarded LL.M. degrees under his supervision and he is currently supervising 4 Ph.D. scholars.

He is a life member of ISIL, New Delhi, a life member of the Environmental & Consumer Protection Foundation, New Delhi, a life member of Academique, a discussion group in Varanasi, a para legal volunteer at the Uttar Pradesh State Legal Service Authority and a life member of the Global Economic Progress & Research Association (Tamil Nadu).
