The Hospital Medical Record Section maintains the details of the indoor as well as outdoor patients. It shows that the patient load is progressively increasing. In 2009 outdoor patient's attendance was 943231 which exceeded by 126206 patients compared to the year 2008. In emergency OPD 52920 patients were seen during the year. Total admissions in the hospital including Special Ward were 45161 and in total 24056 major and minor operations were conducted. A total of 2339 (1930 Gynecology + 409 Prasuti Tantra) deliveries were conducted during 2009. Various investigations carried in different units in 2009 increased by more than twice (a total 1125295) compared to only 547490 in 2008. This drastic difference was due to efficient performance of Centre of Clinical Investigation (CCI). The bed occupancy rate varied from 30% to 100% in different wards. The occupancy varied from department to department and some of the departments had 100% occupancy. It will be more appreciated with the subsequent presentation department wise.
