THE VISION 

Since the Mahamana Heritage Complex is visualized as the nerve centre for conservation of the best in our culture and the role of the University as a pace setter in the global context and centre for pilgrimage of the admirers of BHU, the Alumni and their relatives, provision of Light and Sound facilities be made to depict the evolution of the University, the saga and romance of the unique collection drive (Mahamana as Prince of Beggar), the great Masters who shaped the University and the quality of its education, the freedom movement, the gurukul concept and design of its Master Plan, the hermitage scenario of its environment, plants, horticulture / floriculture (which Dr. Randhawa in his book describes as the best in the country) cross fertilization of disciplines, the potential for human resource development.
The visitors to the complex should be conducted to the open air theatre/auditorium to be exposed to the Sound and Light as also the focus of the Mahamana Heritage Complex which will be the Pilgrim Centre for India and the entire world.
What we have in view is the creation of a Corpus by the Government of India and voluntary donations from India and abroad, particularly from our distinguished and committed alumni so that the Mahamana Complex functions as an Autonomous Centre under a Governing Council within the frame work of BHU Acts and Statutes. The aims and objectives of the Mahamana Malaviya Heritage Complex reflect the basic parameters of Mahatma's, Mahamana's, Gurudev's and Dr Mrs Annie Besant's views and philosophies, canvas and perspectives, goals and means for the basic concern for the welfare of the mankind in general and Indian people in particular.
