About Doctoral Program in Management

Doctoral Program in Management started in the University in the year 1968 along with Post Graduate management Programs. Presently there are 28 Faculty members from different functional area of Management, who are guiding doctoral dissertations of over sixty research Scholars.

Eligibility
  1. Qualifying Examination: Qualifying Examination: Master's degree in Business Management (M.B.M.), Management Studies/ Management Sciences (M.M.S.), Business Administration (M.B.A.), International Business Administration (M.I.B.A.), International Business (M.I.B.), M.B.A. (Agri-Business) OR two year PGP/PGDM declared equivalent to Master's Degree in Management by AIU/accredited by AICTE/UGC or First class graduate and professionally qualified Chartered Accountant/Cost and Works Accountant/Company Secretary of the concerned statutory bodies.
  2. Qualifying Marks: At least 60% in the aggregate or equivalent grade point average in the qualifying examination.
Admission Procedure

There are two categories of Admission to Doctoral Program in Management. First is through Common Research Entrance Test conducted by the Controller of Examinations, Banaras Hindu University every year.
The second category is CRET Excempted Category to which canddiates who have qualified NET-JRF of UGC will be considered for admission. Further working executives are also considered for admission under this Category as Part Time Research Scholar.
