Admission of International Students

All the application forms may be submitted in the office of the International Students Advisor, International Students Centre, BHU for the admission process. The candidates shall submit necessary documents to the International Students Centre. On receiving the forms and necessary documents the International Students Centre shall examine the eligibility of each applicant to the course and also the equivalence of the qualifying examination passed by the candidate and shall shortlist the eligible candidates on merit basis.

If there is any problem regarding equivalence of the qualifying examination passed by the candidates, the same may be referred to the Equivalence Committee constituted for foreign nationals. The last date of admission in this category will be announced by the International Students Advisor. Foreign Nationals are exempted from appearing in Written Test (CAT), Group discussion and Interview.

Eligibility

Bachelor degree under 10+2+3 pattern/ a degree in Agriculture, Technology, Medicine, Education or law/ a post graduate degree in any discipline under 10+2+3 pattern with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from any University/Institution recognized by AIU/AICTE. Foreign National Candidates will be admitted on the basis of their merit in the valid GMAT & TOEFL Score for the corresponding year of Admission.

At the time of submitting the application:

All the Foreign Nationals should submit their application, along with the processing charges.

  1. The applications of scholarship-holding Foreign Nationals (under various schemes) are required to be routed through the Indian Council for Cultural Relations /Ministry of Human Resource Development (Department of Education), Govt. of India, New Delhi.
  2. They hold a valid foreign passport.
  3. That they have adequate knowledge of English and/or Hindi as per the requirements of the Course.

At the time of admission:

  1. They have valid Residential permit in India granted for studies / student visa for the prescribed duration of the concerned Course.
  2. They fulfil the minimum eligibility requirements.

General:

  1. The Degree/certificates of the candidates have been recognized and approved by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU)/Commonwealth Universities/ International Association of Universities (IAU) as equivalent to the corresponding Indian degrees/certificates.
  2. All the eligible Foreign Nationals are required to fill up the Registration Form prescribed by the University at the time of admission.
  3. The applicant should have completed 17 years of age and there is no maximum age limit for Foreign Nationals.
  4. The Inter-se merit among the applicants of various Foreign Nationals shall be decided by the "Core Committee for Admissions of Foreign Nationals", which shall be deemed as final.

Fee Details:

  1. Processing charges Approx. USD 50: At the time of submitting the application
  2. Regular University Fee: First Year INR 47682/- Odd Sem.; & INR 2125/- Even Sem.; Second Year:INR 46982 Odd Sem.; & INR 2125/- Even Sem.
  3. Additional Charges: INR 80,000/- PA for candidates from SAARC countries and INR 90,000/- for candidates from Non-SAARC Countries : At the time of joining the Program
  4. Hostel Charges not included

The above mentioned fee are subject to revision from time to time.
